Hi everyone, My name is Jodie Becker and I am an accidental expat and translator living in the Netherlands with my Dutch hubby, two great kids and five chickens. We are a far-from-perfect family with a passion for restoring the peace in our ever-chaotic household. Alexander (6) and Madeleine (2) both have severe and life-threatening allergies, something that affects every aspect and second of our lives. After a hefty bout of postpartum depression, the traumas surrounding their allergies and asthma have played a leading role. By sharing our battle stories with you, I hope to relieve the emotional pressure that’s been controlling my life.
